    Sometimes I think I have a hankering for the past ...the days of horse and sail when everything was done at a more leisurely pace.
    The Motto and Coat of Arms are part of that old tradition.

    but...i see the dark thunder clouds in the distance as softly moving over the stillness, just blanketing it in still more softness and stillness - encapsulating keeping safe not threatening - ah, such is art in the eye of the beholder, right?! beautiful image!

    I always feel that large inland lakes and meres give off a mystical stillness and baleful aspect which corresponds with my sombre image of the mythical Avalon.
    But I do agree it is all a personal view.
