    I'm enjoying this series Trevor. It's the disadvantage of owning such large tracts of the country. One is forever opening and shutting gates!

    You are truly talented! I am just in awe of your photos.
    I have a close friend in the UK and when he came to visit me in the States the first time, he was amazed at the lack of "fences", "hedges" or "boarders" around property here.
    I love the stone walls and hedges that show property lines in the UK.

    Thank you for your lovely comment. Things changed a lot over here during the Industrial and Agrarian Revolutions. The enclosure movement saw a lot of the commons and other land fenced off which was indeed harsh for the peasants of the day who relied on the common land to graze their livestock. I should imagine it is a little strange to view borderless properties.
