Glad to see you back in productive mode, I missed your images. Are these processed or have you got a posh filter? you don't have to say if you would rather it remain a secret.
None of my images are heavily manipulated the two major reason are: I do not have Photoshop or any other top software to use. Time....I just do not seem to have the window for it. What I do use is the basic Picassa3. A little soft focus to get the dreamy effect and a little sharpening and tampering with the light. I would also like to get some mist and fog ( selected areas ).. in some of the images to create an effect but do not have anything that will do it alas!
Trevor if you can create a new layer fill with white and then use an eraser to spray about at various strengths that will do it. Elements is cheap and older versions free. GIMP is free and fully functioning. Elements 9 i have just upgraded to is cheaper than a set of Cokin filters and cheaper than one Lee filter.
Lovely photo,I like the softness and the colour, just need the elves to finish it off. Thank you for your comment on my blog, whilst I was unwell, much appreciated.I am up and about again, feeling much better. Enjoy your weekend.Carolyn
So delicate and beautiful. Love the "Vaseline" treatment.
